The New Franklin baseball came away with a strong 9-3 win over Sturgeon at home on Thursday.
After allowing two runs in the top of the third, New Franklin jumped ahead with four runs in the bottom of the frame and never looked back. The Bulldogs added two more in the fourth, one in the fifth, and two in the sixth.
Sophomore Tanner Bishop allowed two runs on three hits with six strikeouts. Junior Clayton Wilmsmeyer surrendered just one run on three hits with seven strikeouts. Senior Caleb hull closed the game with out allowing a hit run or walk.
