The Board of Directors of New Hope Cemetery will host a fundraiser to replenish its operating funds. New Hope Cemetery, located on State Route O in northeastern Howard County, is one of the oldest cemeteries in the county.
The fundraiser kicks off at 5 pm on Saturday, April 15, at Cooper’s Oak Winery/Skullsplitter Spirits in Higbee with a hamburger and hot dog dinner. Sides, a desert, and a drink are included. The cost is a free-will donation.
An auction of new and gently-used items begins at 6:30 p.m. Photographs of items available during the auction may be seen on White Auction Service’s Facebook page.
To make a monetary donation or to donate an item for the auction, contact Debbie Wiswall at (660) 728-2521 or Carol Kirby at (660) 456-7660.
