Moniteau Chapel on State Route W, has a new pastor, Scott Davis. He joined the community there about four months ago.
Davis, who lives in Moberly, has a bachelor’s degree from Central Christian College of the Bible and a master's from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is a veteran of the Navy and has spent 35 years working as a registered nurse.
Davis and his wife have two children and two grandsons, and he recently joined the Fayette Ministerial Alliance. He says he is glad to be part of this community.
Sunday worship services are held at the Moniteau Chapel at 9 a.m., and a new Bible study begins tonight and will run each Wednesday at 6 p.m.
