Dozens of fairgoers visited the PAWS (Pet Adoption and Welfare Service) tent Saturday during the Fayette Festival of the Arts. Youngsters enjoyed interacting with pets that are available for adoption. PAWS even received several spontaneous donations from Natalie Monnig, Mary O'Connor, and Clell Solomon. One man who wished to remain anonymous gave $20.
Fellow fair vendor Snuggle Buggles of DeSoto, Missouri, gave $100 worth of doggie treats to PAWS.
PAWS is made up of local volunteers who promote pet adoption and welfare. Donations may be sent to PAWS c/o Nancy Shepherd 304 Co Rd 438, Rocheport, MO 65279.
