Peggy McBride died suddenly on May 12, 2022, in Fayette, Missouri. She was 51 years of age.
Peggy Lynn McBride was born September 23, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri, the only child of Marvin and Mary (Sanchegraw) Hochstatter. She graduated from Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri. Her parents died at a young age and Peggy was raised by an uncle. She worked at several jobs after high school. She had worked at the Braun Home in Fayette since 2009. She was most recently a house manager. She loved to go shopping and eat out with her two chosen sisters, Ruthie Terrill and Teresa Whitley. She also loved garage sales, road trips, and summer vacations. One of Peggy’s greatest joys was being a grandma to her granddaughter. She was kind-hearted and would do whatever she could to assist anyone in need. She loved her Braun Home family and all the individuals with whom she worked and will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by two sons, Michael and Matthew McBride, both of Armstrong; a granddaughter, Kathryn McBride; and her best friends, Ruthie and Teresa along with her Braun family.
A celebration of life memorial service honoring Peggy will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Mike Jackman officiating.
