Plans to celebrate Fayette’s upcoming bicentennial are moving forward. The team planning the event has developed a basic framework for the celebration during public meetings held since November 1.
The team once again invites the public to the next planning meeting, which will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Fayette at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31.
Ideas for events, items to sell, and memorabilia are being sought, along with further thoughts and considerations for Fayette’s 200th birthday celebration.
