The city has finally received an engineering report on the Spring Street bridge, which has been closed since April. Erosion discovered near a new sewer pipe had compromised the integrity of the bridge, which crosses a creek next to Daly Elementary School.

Ever since, the city has been waiting on a report about the bridge from MECO Engineering. Northwest Ward Alderwoman Peggy O’Connell expressed her dissatisfaction regarding how long it took MECO to produce the report.
