Fayette Rotary Club Treasurer Christina Heilman (right) presented the July Happy Can check in the amount of $100 to Linda Lembke (left) a member of the Peacemakers Quilting Group, at the club’s meeting on August 4. The money will be used for the Peacemker's Quilt of Valor project.
Four members of the Fayette Rotary Club, Bruce Addison, Dan Eilliott, Berre Robinson, and Chuck Thompson, have received quilts from the group in honor of their service in the American Armed Forces.
Fayette Rotarians collect money in the Happy Can each meeting. Each month the money collected is presented to a designated community organization.
