Saturday: trivia night

Posted

The Fayette Rotary Club will hold its annual trivia night this Saturday, November 13 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Hall. The event will help raise funds to help fund several of the club’s community projects, including the Fayette Rotary Club scholarship.

The club recently received a matching grant from Rotary International to help with the renovation of Paige-Liberty Park. Trivia night proceeds will help match this grant.

In addition to a trivia contest, team members will receive a soup and chili supper with chips, snacks, drinks, and desserts, at no additional cost. Participants also have the chance to participate in “dead and alive” rounds and a 50-50 raffle. The club will auction five mystery boxes, which will contain items donated by club members. One lucky bidder will find a $100 bill among the items in his or her box.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Saturday and trivia will begin at 7 p.m. Cost for a team of 8 to 10 is $125. Cash prizes will go to the first, second, and last-place teams.
