How are you spending time with school closed? Lots of dog walks, working out, and cooking some new foods.

Sports/Activities: Track, Cross Country, and Cheerleading.

Favorite moment from athletics: My favorite moment from my athletic career was right after I dislocated my elbow. I was doing cross country at the time, and it was a few weeks into season. I went to the first cross country meet super excited to cheer on my teammates as they ran their hardest.

Throughout the season I started running more, and gaining my strength back hoping to be able to run. I ended up running at districts, and state for my team. My coach, Corey Whitaker, helped me gain back the confidence to run, and pushed me out of my comfort zone. I will always remember how much work we had to put in, and how much we came together as a team for one another.

Favorite classes: Zoology, Field Studies, and Government.

Favorite food: My grandma’s breakfast casserole or pork steak with white rice.

Hobbies: Hanging out with my friends, being outdoors, listening to music.

A person who has influenced you: My grandpa, Papa, has had the biggest influence on me as a person. He has taught me many important lessons; how to play pitch, he comes to lots of my athletic or academic events to support me. My Papa loves spending weekends with my cousins, sisters, and myself. He works full time welding and taking care of his farm. I admire his work ethic and commitment to his family.

Future plans: My plans after graduation are to go to Moberly Area Community College for one year, and then transfer to Mizzou to finish my bachelors. I want to major in pre-med, and possibly become a physical therapist.
