On Easter Sunday, April 22, 1973, the first Sunday service was held at Sharon Bible Church. The church was organized by a mid-week Bible study group in Armstrong.
Rev. Austin Robertson was the first pastor. In January 1985, Rev. Charles Ehase became pastor while Rev. Robertson took a school at Moberly. When health caused Rev. Ehase to retire, Rev. Robertson returned to Sharon.
On April 25, 1991, Harold Young was ordained as a minister. Rev. Young became the pastor a few years later when Rev. Robertson retired.
