Sharon K. Davis-Jabas, of Boonville, Mo., passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born in Fulton and raised in Boonville, Sharon remained a proud and devoted member of her hometown throughout her life. She raised five children—Paula, Greg, Kim, Lisa, and Eric (who preceded her in death)—with unwavering love, strength, and wisdom.

Sharon’s legacy lives on through her 12 beloved grandchildren: Dana, Denny, James, and Holly (children of Paula); Addy and Jade (children of Kim); Garrett, Gabby, Jacob, and Luke (children of Greg); and Kelsey and Leah (children of Lisa). She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

A lifelong lover of horses and all things Western, Sharon was a passionate 4-H leader and advocate for youth and agriculture. She had a fiery passion for politics and often attended political gatherings with her late son Eric, sharing lively debates, strong opinions, and a fierce dedication to the causes she believed in.

Those who knew Sharon knew her as someone who always spoke her mind. Whether you agreed or not, you never left a conversation with her without learning something new. She was hip, cool, and full of life, always dressed to impress and full of spirit. Her presence lit up every room she entered, and her absence will leave a profound void in the hearts of those who loved her.

Sharon was a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, and a great-great-grandmother—but more than that, she was a force of nature, a steady anchor, and a beautiful soul who made an unforgettable impact on everyone she met.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at a visitation at the funeral home. All who knew and loved Sharon are invited to attend and honor her memory. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
