Sparkle in the Park continues to grow

Posted

Sparkle in the Park, presented by the Friends of Historic Fayette Memorial Pool, has done it again. For the third year in a row, the fundraiser has grown as participants deck out the park with lighted displays.

Eighteen displays from clubs, individuals, and organizations light up the park nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. throughout the month of December. The City of Fayette has donated the electricity for the displays.

“We would love to light the whole park up,” said Ann Schnell, FHFMP member.

Schnell said the Friends are hoping for even more next year. “Please think about joining us in 2021.”

To sign up for the 2021 Sparkle in the Park, contact Schnell at annschnell@icloud.com or (660) 728-2102 to reserve a spot.
