Fifty-eight young anglers turned out for the annual fishing derby hosted by the Fayette Optimist Club at the lake at The Lodge on Saturday morning. Poles and bait were supplied by the Missouri Department of Conservation, with prizes and refreshments from the Optimist Club.Canaan Gladden caught the biggest fish of the day, with Lily Gregory catching the second-biggest.
