An open house for the new Tricky Fish Community Hall in Fayette is scheduled for Friday evening. The event will run from 4 until 7 p.m. at the building located at 114 South Main Street, a block off the Fayette courthouse square. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Tricky Fish Community Hall was developed by local attorney Frank Robert Flaspohler as a resurrection of a deteriorated building on South Main, across from Fayette City Hall. The building has been completely redeveloped with new flooring, a new roof, and a renovated facade.
The interior was gutted and now boasts a flexible space featuring a small kitchen, two bathrooms, and an open floor plan for use by groups such as the Fayette Area Community Theater and A Little Grace Dance Studio. It is rentable for personal events and other programs.
