There will be two vaccination clinics this week at Central Methodist University in Fayette. The first will occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24. Hosted by the Howard County Public Health Department, this clinic is by appointment only. All appointment slots have been filled, and the department is putting names on a waitlist for future clinics.
Fitzgibbon Family Health Clinic and Fitzgibbon Hospital will host its next clinic on Thursday, February 25. Those scheduled for appointments will receive their vaccinations between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. In addition, walk-ins will be accepted from 9 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.
In the event the parking lot is full, extra spaces will be available at the football field.
Those who pre-register and are scheduled with an appointment time will be given priority for their vaccinations. Walk-ins who are in an eligible phase and tier, as determined by the State of Missouri and explained on www.mostopscovid.com, will be served as the vaccine is available.
Anyone may pre-register for the vaccine at www.fitzgibbon.org/preregister. Those who pre-register will be contacted for an appointment when the appropriate phase is open and vaccines are available.
