Malia Carmack drove in three runs as the Lady Jackets beat Jamestown 8-7 on Monday night. Carmack had a single, a double, and scored a run as well.
Keyanna Colvin scored two runs and had an RBI. She also picked up the win, striking out seven over seven innings.
Miranda Cooper singled, walked twice, and scored twice. Olivia Fuemmeler and Hadley Sanders each drew a pair of walks and Layne Sanders scored twice as Glasgow improved to 2-0.
New Franklin wins two
The New Franklin softball team has a winning record after beating Slater and Brunswick in a doubleheader on Monday.
The Lady Bulldogs put up four runs in the first inning of a 12-1 win over Slater. Kayce Hundley went 2-4 with a home run and drove in four runs.
Abby Maupin doubled, tripled and scored three runs. Carly Dorson and Isabelle Matney each went 2-3 at the plate. Alexia Sprick gave up a run on two hits and four walks, striking out six.
In game two, New Franklin broke a 3-3 tie with two runs in the third inning and added four more in the fourth, winning 10-4.
Maupin, Matney, Hundley and Sprick each went 3-4 at the plate. Annie Benner had a hit and four RBI.
Bulldogs fall to Hallsville
The Harrisburg softball team dropped to 3-2 on the season with a 17-0 loss to Hallsville (6-1) on Monday night.
Harrisburg put two runners on base with no outs in the first inning and again in the third, but the Bulldogs were unable to get a timely hit either time.
Abby Timbrook reached base on an error to lead off the third inning, followed by a Katie Starbuck single. Baylie Combs singled to load the bases with one out, but a fielder’s choice and strikeout ended the inning. Starbuck finished 2-3 at the plate.
