Rural Glasgow, MO resident, Vici Littrell, 61, passed away suddenly at her home on March 20, 2022.

Victoria Ann Littrell was born July 28, 1960, in Boonville, Missouri, a daughter to the late Rev. Kenneth and Lillian (Jackson) Browning. Vici attended and graduated from Glasgow High School with the class of 1978. She started her career immediately after graduating, working as a secretary for Glasgow Gardens care facility. Through her hard work and dedication, Vici was promoted to administrator and held that job for 33 years. Vici was truly a kind and genuine person and always did the right things for the right reasons. You would often find her planning something special for her employees or her residents, just because. She cared deeply for every patient at the nursing home over the 42 years she was employed there. Vici retired from Glasgow Gardens in late 2021 to enjoy time with her family.

On June 5, 1982, Vici married the love of her life, Kevin Littrell, at St. Mary’s Church in Glasgow. Together, they’ve enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage. Family, and the life she had with her husband, Kevin, meant everything to Vici. Her happiest times were with her husband, children, and grandchildren relaxing and having fun. Vici was also known to enjoy slow, sunny days on the Missouri River fishing, floating, and having fun with her family and close friends.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin Littrell; two children, Laurie Littrell Lee and Mitchell Littrell, both of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Lowell Jonathan “L.J.” Lee and Demi Ann Lee; and a sister, Kristi (Eric) Colvin of Franklin, Missouri. In addition to her parents, Vici was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Browning, and her son-in-law, Charlie Lee.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow. A funeral service honoring the life of Vici will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Glasgow, with Rev. Ryan Edwards officiating. Burial will follow the service at Washington Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Glasgow or St. Mary’s School, in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service, 112 Market St., Glasgow, MO 65254.
