Vote for Fayette in Missouri Humanities’ Small Town Showcase

Posted

Fayette, Glasgow, and Rocheport are among 41 small towns across Missouri that have been nominated to be voted on for the 2023 Small Town Showcase presented by Missouri Humanities. Of those 41, the five communities with the most votes will move to be featured in the showcase.

MH’s Small Town Showcase program strives to highlight the uniqueness of Missouri’s small towns and showcase the bigger picture of what small town America really is, and why it should not be overlooked, overshadowed, or under appreciated.

“This initiative is one of the MH’s most exciting programs to date,” says Caitlin Yager, Program Director for the Small Town Showcase program, “I’m lucky to have the opportunity to explore Missouri’s small towns, and it’s truly inspiring to see how proud people are of their communities.” For the last several months, Missouri Humanities has been working with a handful of pilot communities. So far, MH has completed videos and podcasts with Marble Hill in Bollinger County and Chillicothe in Livingston County.
