The White Bell American Legion Post 273 has selected the American Legion high-school scholarships to be donated in 2022.
Three high school seniors from our area are each the recipient of a $500.00 scholarship to the college of their choice.
The three winners this year are Riley C. Felten of Franklin, Hermione J. Pierce of Franklin, and Hayleigh D. Coats of Fayette.
Our Legion’s goal with these donations has always been to help our youth to be better prepared to live and serve in our community. A big thanks to the Barker Fund for a grant that has made it possible for us to continue these scholarship donations to our youths’ futures.
Congratulations to this year’s winners. As always, all three are talented, intelligent, and motivated young people.
