New Franklin junior Conner Wilmsmeyer and his Bulldog teammates charged into Higbee Thursday and came away with a 17-0 win.
Wilmsmeyer looked as if he might be able to get away with a no-hitter as well. He allowed no hits through three innings. However it was not to be as freshman Robert Smith, sophomore Jaxon Hudson, and junior Anthony White all got hits in the final inning.
New Franklin will host Sturgeon tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. while Higbee hosts Glasgow today at 5 p.m.
