The new year was ushered in with a strong dose of winter weather. After experiencing record high temperatures in December, 2021, perhaps Mother Nature decided a reset was in order. Temperatures reached as high as 74 degrees on Christmas Eve and 61 on New Year’s Eve, before plunging to single digits in the first days of 2022. First came the freezing rain, which was then covered by a light dusting of snow.
