The Fayette Advertiser has a new Sports Editor starting this week. Kevin Oeth took over the sports desk on Monday from Jeff Yoder.
Our readers are undoubtedly familiar with Mr. Oeth, who also serves as the Mayor for the City of Fayette.
Mr. Oeth and his wife, Barbie, moved to Fayette four years ago following his retirement with the City of Columbia. His son, Andy, is a teacher at Daly Elementary here.
Mr. Yoder, who took over the sports page in August of last year, is relocating with his family back to their hometown of Kalona, Iowa.
