The Howard County Daughters of the American Revolution recognized Barbara Alexander for 65 years of service & dedication to the organization at its October 22 meeting.
Barbara joined the chapter in October 1956. She has served four terms as chapter regent and currently serves as chapter treasurer and constitution week chair.
There are currently three generations of her family serving this chapter, including her daughters Lynne and Leslie, and her granddaughter, Jenna.
Barbara’s love of the projects that DAR sponsors for students, literacy, and our veterans, keep her excited to be actively involved in the organization.
