With the holiday season in full swing, many local parishioners are wondering where they can attend Christmas worship services this season.
The following is a list of churches that have announced Christmas plans to the Advertiser.
Fayette First Baptist Church
Christmas Eve Services at 5 p.m.
First Christian Church
There will be a candlelight Christmas Eve service, including communion, at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24.
St. Joseph Catholic Church
There will be a Christmas Eve Mass at 7 p.m., and a Christmas Mass 8 a.m.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Glasgow
There will be a Christmas Eve Mass at 5 p.m., at Midnight, and Christmas Mass at 10 a.m.
Linn Memorial
There will be a Candlelight Service Saturday, Dec. 24 at 7 p.m.
St. Paul's UMC
There will be a Blue Christmas Worship Service on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. [CANCELED DUE TO FORECASTED DANGEROUS WINTER WEATHER]
Faith Family Church
Christmas Eve: “Carols & Candles” Christmas Eve Service, 7-8 p.m.
Sunday, Christmas, and New Year’s: One service at 10 a.m. on December 25, and January 1.
Grace Fellowship
There will be a Christmas Service at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 25. No Sunday school. All are invited.
Moniteau Chapel
Moniteau Chapel will celebrate the birth of Christ with a candlelight service on Friday, Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. Anyone interested is invited to come and celebrate. Bro. Scott Davis, RN, Pastor will be leading the service. The church will hold a regular worship service on Christmas morning at 9 a.m. Questions should be directed to (660) 998-7337 (text, call, voicemail).
