Aubrey Eugene Ivy, 82, of New Franklin, passed away on July 26, 2022, at Aspire Senior Living in Fayette.
Aubrey Eugene Ivy was born in Boonesboro, Missouri, on September 19, 1939, a son of Arthur and Lorena Potthast Ivy. He married Leona Weber on October 7, 1961, in Boonville.
Mr. Ivy was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed with Central Bridge and APAC in Columbia. In retirement, he operated Ivy’s Taxidermy in New Franklin for several years. Aubrey enjoyed his family, working in his shop, and loved his canine companions, Shane and Adam.
Survivors include a son, Jason (Beth) Ivy of New Franklin; two daughters, Tammy (Tom) Limbach of New Franklin and Lisa (Jeff Esser) Lorenz of Boonville; a brother, Ardell Ivy of New Franklin; eight much-loved grandchildren, Josh Couch, Kirsten Limbach, Christian Ivy, Audrey Bain, Dalton Ivy, Jace Vogt, Carter Ivy, and River Ivy. Also cherishing his memory is his longtime girlfriend, Vickie Jones.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Weber Ivy; his parents; a son, Aubrey King “Tadpole” Ivy; and siblings, Louella Mann, Vernon Ivy, and Arlene Welliver.
A celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin.
Burial will be at a later date at Clarks Chapel Cemetery.
