The Golden Study Club in Fayette awarded a scholarship in the amount of $600 to recent Fayette High School graduate Makayla Barnette. Makayla will attend Central Methodist University this fall as a business major. The club awards a yearly scholarship to a local high school graduate.
The Golden Study Club was founded in November 1950. The service organization boasts 18 members and is looking for more.
