Benjamin "Ben" Gaines, 64, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Fayette, visitation will be from 12-1PM Saturday at the church.

Benjamin Gaines was born July 18, 1959, in Fayette, MO, the son of Minnie Gaines and Benjamin Roland.
Ben was an avid sports fan. He had no trouble meeting people. He was a character and we loved him dearly. He attended the Fayette Public School.
He leaves to mourn his memory his daughter Sharla Taylor of Omaha, NE, sisters Phyllis Conway, Annette Crump, Constance Crump and Matilda Crump all of Fayette, MO, an Aunt Nadine Bynum if Kansas City, MO, two good friends Harold McQuitty and Ronnie Carter, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Gloria Ann Crump and Donna Marie Crump, his brothers Michael Crump and William Crump, and a nephew Travis Crump.
The family would like to thank St. Paul United Methodist Church for all of their help during our time of loss.
