City seeking donations for fireworks display

Posted

The City of Fayette is once again seeking donations to help pay for the annual Independence Day fireworks display at the Fayette City Park. So far, $600 has been donated.

The cost of this year’s show totals $4,200, the same as last year. The price was increased from $3,500 to $4,200 in 2022.

J&M Displays, from Slater, will again present the display, which begins when the sun has set on July 4. The show is traditionally funded by donations.

Stop by City Hall on South Main Street to donate to the show. Checks should be made out to “The City of Fayette.”
