The Central Methodist University Association of Student-Athletes is set to host a food drive as part of the Heart of America Athletic Conference’s Week of Giving.
The event is set to take place tonight (Wednesday) during the basketball doubleheader vs. MidAmerica Nazarene University at Puckett Field House.
The donation of any non-perishable food item will grant fans free admission to the games and an automatic entry into a drawing for one of four Eagle Store gift cards.
All tendered food items will be donated to the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry.
Additionally, free pizza will also be provided to students who sit in the student section.
The women’s game serves as a pivotal matchup. The winner will claim sole possession of the top spot in the Heart South Division standings.
The CMU and MNU men are tied for second place in the South Division, with the winner climbing ever closer to first place.
Tipoff for both games is set for 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
