Deana Lee Brown, 73, of New Franklin, passed away at her home on June 30, 2021.
Deana was born in Los Angeles, California on September 29, 1947, a daughter of the late Paul Dean and Beverly Devon Atkinson Metzger. She was employed with Hometown Homecare in Fayette. Deana loved her family and loved having family gather at her home especially on July 4th. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling on family adventures, collecting miniatures and wind chimes, her chickens, chocolate, watching Judge Judy, cooking (especially fried chicken) and barbecue, and playing piano.
Survivors include four sons, Shaun Perryman, Dustin Brown, Jaysen Brown, and Branden Brown; her domestic partner of thirty years, Danny Taylor; a sister, Linda Monge; 10 grandchildren, Selena Peterschmidt, Robert Brown, Anthony Brown, Brayden Brown, Maranda Brown, Aidan Brown, Tyesin Brown, Sofia Perryman, Logan Brown, and Ava Perryman; and four great-grandchilden, Braxton Sedgwick, Dominic Peterschmidt, Mila Peterschmidt, and Benji Peterschmidt.
A visitation honoring Deana’s life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin.
