Deepest gratitude to American Legion Post 273

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter to express my deepest gratitude to American Legion Post 273, and to the many friends and volunteers who showed unwavering support for my husband, Jerry Adams, in the last days of his life.

The generosity of Post 273 not only helped to alleviate a financial burden but also brought a sense of hope and comfort to Jerry and our family. It was a clear demonstration of the community’s solidarity and the profound respect we all have for Jerry and others who choose service to our community.

In addition to the financial support we were deeply touched by the outpouring of assistance from friends and volunteers. Their kindness and dedication serve as a example of what makes the place we live into communities.

In closing, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to American Legion Post 273, the friends, and volunteers who were there for Jerry in his time of need. Your kindness and generosity have left an indelible mark on our hearts, and we are forever grateful.

Sincerely,

Sharon Adams and Family
