The third and fourth-grade Fayette Optimist youth football team finished the season on Saturday with an unblemished record. Fayette edged Westran 14-12 in the season opener, then did not allow any scores by Salisbury, Milan, and Marceline over the next three games. The Falcons escaped with a win over Harrisburg, 27-25, before closing the season with their fourth shutout of the year, 42-0, against Slater.
