Central Methodist University Head Women's Wrestling Coach Brieana Delgado is pleased to announce the CMU women's wrestling class for 2021-22. This year's class includes 11 newcomers and four grapplers that are nationally ranked.
"Adding four nationally ranked recruits into our program was critical to achieving our goals for this upcoming season," said Coach Delgado. "I believe these young ladies will help level up our wrestling room and provide a more well-rounded dynamic in our duals."
The four nationally ranked wrestlers include Allison Hynes (No. 12), Alexis Miller (No. 17), Lillian Gough (No. 22), and Sabrina King (No. 23). This year's class puts Central Methodist as one of the top 15 recruiting classes in the country according to InterMat Wrestling.
"With Miller's energy, Hyne's speed, King's grit, and Gough's power, along with the rest of this amazing recruiting class; and on top of our returners, we are poised to make a statement this year," added Delgado. "We look forward to entering Our New Era!
