Glasgow High School announced Monday that standout athlete Halle Fuemmeler has been selected by a member of the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Board of Directors to serve as a junior on the 2024-2025 Student Advisory Committee.
The Student Advisory Committee is a leadership program that develops leadership skills in young individuals while allowing them to provide valuable input in furthering the mission of MSHSAA and enhancing educational based athletic/activity experience for students across Missouri. The select committee of only eight to 10 students statewide will develop and enhance leadership skills by attending events, such as the NFHS National Student Leadership Summit in Indianapolis, Indiana, various leadership challenges, meetings, and retreats all across the state of Missouri.
Fuemmeler had an outstanding sophomore season on the Yellowjackets basketball team, averaging 22.2 points per game to go along with 5.2 rebounds 25.6% 3-point shooting.
She also reached the 1,000-point mark this season as a sophomore, and was named first-team All-District.
