Third Graders at Glasgow Elementary School raised $300 for PAWS (Pet Adoption and Welfare Service). Their teacher, Jessica Elson, had her students learn about economics by creating a product and then selling it. The students filled plastic eggs with candy and then sold the eggs. They voted on which organizations would benefit from the funds raised. PAWS was one of two non-profits chosen.
