The Central Methodist volleyball duo of sophomore Callie Henson and senior Jordan Wolfe were tabbed as NAIA Volleyball All-Americans after stellar individual seasons in 2021. The release was announced by the national office last week.
Selections were decided by the All-America Committee that is comprised of first, second, third, and honorable mention teams. There are 14 members on each of the first three All-America teams.
It marks only the second time in program history that the Eagles have earned two NAIA All-America selections in a single season, with the last duo being Jane Kickham and Marija Janjusevic in 2018.
Henson was recognized as an NAIA Third-Team All-American after finishing her sophomore campaign, leading the team in both kills (409), and kills/set (3.08), and third in total blocks (85). She was tabbed as a Heart First Team All-Conference selection and landed on the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament team for her performance at this year's championship.
Wolfe rounds out her career as a two-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. She was also recognized as a junior in 2019. The Camdenton, Mo. native racked up 332 total kills and 112 total blocks. In addition, Wolfe also earned Heart First Team All-Conference honors for the second-straight season.
Henson, Wolfe, and the Eagles finished the 2021 campaign with a 29-9 overall mark including a stellar 16-3 record in conference play and a final national ranking of No. 19.
