The Missouri Junior High and High School Rodeo takes place this weekend, October 1-3, at the Howard County Fairgrounds. The annual event kicks off Friday night with an Open 4D barrel race at 7 p.m.
Junior high rodeo begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by high school events. A high school performance will be held at 7 p.m.
Events on Sunday begin at 9 a.m. with junior high, followed by high school. There will be 10 riders per event, as in a regular rodeo.
There is a $10 gate fee per person per day. Children ages six and under are admitted for free.
