Murphy Quint was crowned Fair Queen and KatiJo Schaefer was crowned Fair Teen Wednesday night of last week at the Howard County Fair.
Quint is a Fayette native and sophomore at Central Methodist University. She is the daughter of Billy and Dr. Jessica Quint. Schaefer, 16, is the daughter of Greg and Jessica Schaefer of Glasgow.
Sarah King, a CMU student and Fayette resident was the first runner-up for the queen contest. Tehya Sellmeyer of Glasgow was the second runner-up.
Kadence Sulltrop of Fayette was the first runner-up for the teen contest. Kalynn Stephens was the second runner-up.
Earlier in the evening Haley Ragain and Cash Dougherty were named Fair Princess and Prince, respectively. Ragain, 6, is the daughter of Eric and Shawn Ragain of Fayette. Dougherty, 5, is the son of Marshall and Megan Dougherty of Higbee.
