Two Moberly men and a teenager were injured in a one-vehicle accident near Armstrong on Saturday during a pursuit with Randolph County sheriff’s deputies that started in Moberly.

According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Richard G. Baker, 23, was the driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. Nathaniel

A. Taylor, 20, and an unnamed 16-year-old juvenile were passengers.

The crash occurred on MO 3 near County Road 203 north of Armstrong. The car reportedly traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

All three were transported to Moberly Regional Medical Center by ambulance with moderate injuries. Only Baker, the driver, was wearing a seatbelt, according to the patrol’s report.

Baker and Taylor are both in custody at the Randolph County Jail in Moberly, each on a $10,000 bond for  second-degree burglary.

No charges have been filed as of this writing.
