A Fayette man was transported to the hospital following a one-vehicle crash Sunday morning. Antonio S. Jones, 38, suffered moderate injuries when he rolled his 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe just outside Fayette.
According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jones was traveling north on Highway 5 near where it intersects with State Route DD on the south edge of Fayette at 6:40 a.m. when his SUV ran off the right side of the road. Jones overcorrected and ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
The Tahoe sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Jones was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the patrol.
