Jessica Anne Peterson, 40, of New Franklin, passed away May 17, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Jessica was born on November 25, 1981, a daughter of William Dale Peterson, Sr. and Sharon Merritt Peterson. She was formerly employed as a chef and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. As a young person, she enjoyed drawing and painting.
Survivors include three children, Isabella Hobbs, Brenden Hobbs, and Tyler Scott; her mother, Sharon Peterson; a brother, James Peterson; grandmother, Shirley Mills; nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Dale Peterson, Sr., a brother, William Dale Peterson, Jr., and grandparents, William Mills and Edward and Florence Peterson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin with Pastor Randy Richards officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested payable to Markland-Yager Funeral Home to assist Jessica’s family with her funeral and cemetery expenses.
