Former Fayettte resident, John F. Hoton, 85, of Witchita, Kan., passed away March 14, 2020 at a Wichita hospital.
John was born June 20 1934, in Trenton, Mo. He was a graduate of Trenton High School and the University of Missouri were he earned a degree in journalism. John worked in newspaper, radio, and farm publications and as a public information specialist for the federal agency in Kansas City. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Anita of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Jo and Saul Marsh, one grandson, Oliver, all of Wichita.
Final arrangements will be made at a later date.
