Leon Estill, age 92 of Fayette, Missouri, passed away from complications related to congestive heart failure on October 27, 2020 in Silverdale, Washington. Due to pandemic safety related concerns of family and friends, the family is foregoing funeral services. Leon will be buried at the Fayette City Cemetery.
Leon is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne Estill and daughter, Leann Straatman and two brothers; Abbie D. Estill and Donald Estill.
Leon is survived by his daughter, Karen Huston of Silverdale, Washington, five grandchildren to include Kyle Huston, Kevin Straatman, Aaron Huston, Kiana Donaldson, Eric Straatman, and one great-grandchild, Elsie Donaldson and three nephews and one niece.
Leon is often remembered for giving horse drawn wagon rides and gatherings at trail rides, steam engine shows and local parades. Leon retired from the State Hwy. Department and was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels Program.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Fayette and the Fayette City Cemetery. Condolences to the family can be sent to Karen Huston, 14208 Thomas Dr., Silverdale, WA 98383.
