Columbia,MO resident, Lesa Adams, 55, passed away at Boone Hospital Center on November 13, 2020.

Lesa Anne Adams was born August 8, 1965 in Columbia, MO, a daughter to Dwain and Fran (Peacher) Johnson.  She graduated from Harrisburg High School with the class of 1983.  She continued her education earning a bachelor’s degree in business from Stephens College.  Lesa worked as an accountant in the banking and healthcare industries.  For the last 14 years, Lesa has been employed as an accountant for Advanced Radiology in Columbia.  Lesa took pride in being a hard worker.  She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Cody Adams of Columbia,  MO; her mother, Fran Johnson of Harrisburg, MO; sister, Tracy (Jeff) Hudson of Harrisburg, MO; niece and nephew, Baylee and Brayden; two uncles, Gary (Sherry) Peacher and Don Peacher, both of Columbia, MO.  She is also survived by several cousins. Lesa was preceded in death by her father, Dwain Johnson.

A public visitation will be held 10-11 AM, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette, Mo.  Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be observed.  Private graveside services for family only will be held at Smith Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Kevin Leiby officiating.  Interment will follow the service at the cemetery.
