CMU Spring 2022 Dean’s List
The office of Central Methodist University Provost Rita Gulstad has announced the students included on the Spring 2022 Dean’s List.
More than 900 students across all campuses and online learning met the requirements for placement, including a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the semester. The following local students were among those meeting the requirements:

Stornello graduates from Northwest with honors
Cameron Robert Stornello graduated with honors from Northwest Missouri State University. The Fayette native earned a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology.
Stornello graduated Magna Cum Laude. To earn the honor, a student must finish with a cumulative grade-point average between 3.75 and 3.94 on a 4.0 scale.
Gebhardt named to UMKC Dean’s List
Olivia Gebhardt, a freshman at the University of Missouri Kansas City, was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2022 semester.
The Dean’s List is a unit-based student-centric recognition of excellent academic performance. Students must earn a grade-point average of 3.85 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and must complete a minimum full-time program of 12 graded hours to qualify for the dean’s list.
Gebhardt is a 2021 graduate of Fayette High School and is the daughter of Judge Mason Gebhardt and Lisa Gebhardt.
Howard County Students Honored
Four Howard County eighth-grade students were recently honored for outstanding work in American History. The Howard County Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution awarded certificates and medals to the following students:
Brooklynn Morris, daughter of Scott and Sarah Morris of Howard County R-II, Glasgow;
Luci Mateu, daughter of Tano an d Angie Mateu of St. Mary’s School in Glasgow;
Nolan McGowan, son of Chris and Stacy McGowan of New Franklin Middle School;
And Ella Doolin, daughter of Brent and Emily Doolin of Clark Middle School in Fayette.
