Michael D. Mueller, age 72, originally of Fayette, Missouri, passed away after a long illness on July 12, 2023, in Washington, DC. Mr. Mueller graduated from Central Missouri Methodist University and lived for many years in Washington, DC, with frequent trips to Fayette to visit family and friends.
Mr. Mueller is survived by his beloved wife, Dr. Jing Jie Yu, and his devoted daughters and their families, Yi Guo (Wayne), Ying Guo (Tony) and their son Kevin; his dear niece Cassandra Milnes; and his loving sister Diana Mueller, and brother Gary Mueller and his wife Diane and a host of other family and friends. His parents, Betty Jean (Moyer) Mueller and Don Mueller, were lifelong residents of Fayette.
Services will be conducted at the Carr-Yager Funeral Home, 204 N Linn St, Fayette, MO (660-248-2244) this Sunday, July 23, starting with a visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. and service at 3 p.m. All are invited to attend and honor Mr. Mueller.
