At the December 15 New Franklin R-1 District School Board meeting, Benji Dorson was hired as the new superintendent for the 2022-23 school year.
Mr. Dorson is currently the New Franklin High School principal and has been with the district for 20 years. He was the high school science teacher for seven years prior to becoming the building principal for the last 13 years.
The Fayette Advertiser reached out by phone for comment but was unable to get in touch with Mr. Dorson. He will begin his role as superintendent duties July 1, 2022.
