The Howard County Assessor’s Office, with Mapping Solutions, has announced the release of the recently-published Howard County Plat Book. This spiral-bound book features the standard landownership map pages showing townships and ranges within the county, including property boundaries for all rural parcels. Along with land ownership, the maps feature new enhanced LiDAR aerial views that show a 3D-like topographical look at the local land.
In this updated edition, the additional information includes a school districts map, a fire districts map, a special road districts map, and a county road map.
This information is valuable to anyone interested, particularly those who own land in Howard County, along with prospective or adjoining property owners, hunters, foresters, timber, and petroleum industry personnel, and emergency services personnel.
The 2022 Howard County Plat book is available for purchase for $35 at the Howard County Assessor’s Office, located on the second floor of the courthouse in Fayette.
Those interested can also register for a chance to win a free premium wall map. For more information, please contact the office at (660) 248-3400.
Wall maps, a smart phone friendly SmartMap, and an eBook version are all also available for purchase by visiting www.mappingsolutionsgis.com.
