There will be no citywide garage sale in Fayette, as promoted by the Fayette Advertiser this year. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, along with the possibility of litigation should anyone attending later test positive for the coronavirus, dictates that this newspaper will not act as the event coordinator this year.
The annual sales typically occur prior to the start of the fall school semester.
